Founded in 1993 by Dr. Patricia Elder, Counselling Psychologist and Certified Employee Assistance Professional, Elder Associates Limited was established to enhance the professional delivery of psychological services in a culturally diverse environment. Special focus is placed on the psychology of Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean region.

We are a branch office of The Institute for Forensic Psychology, Inc. (USA) and offer pre-employment screening for law enforcement personnel. The Institute for Forensic Psychology, Inc (IFP) is a professional service organization, which applies, specialized psychological research, skill and experience to assess law enforcement candidates thus assisting management in the selection process.
The Management Assistance Programme (MAP) is a programme specifically designed for managers faced with modern day environmental stressors. It is highly professional and confidential counseling and consultation programme. MAP services include:

o Crisis Intervention – 24 hours per day, 7 days per week
